Dr. Jonathan Matthew Ferber, 36, of San Leandro, California, passed away unexpectedly on September 16, 2026.
Born April 9, 1990 to Joseph and Jeanette Ferber in Parkville, MD, he was wed to Jasmyne Lynette Douglas on September 5th, 2021 and became a father to Siobhan Earline Ferber on December 20th, 2022. Jon held a Doctorate of Business Administration from University of Maryland Global campus, Master’s of Business Administration from The Johns Hopkins University, Master’s of Science from McDaniel College, and a Bachelor’s of Science from West Virginia University. He was a Senior Account Manager for the American Red Cross.
Jon was an adoring husband and father, an unsurpassed friend, and a beacon of joy in every life he touched. He was a courageous and adventurous man who aspired to be excellent in all that he did. Jon laughed and loved heroically. Jon is survived by his wife Jasmyne and daughter Siobhan, parents Joseph and Jeanette, brothers Joseph and Jacob, and countless dear friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Baltimore Unity Hall on Sunday, October 25 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to any charitable organization.
