Peabody Heights Brewery hosted Afroman, the Southern rapper known for his iconic weed rallying cry 2000’s “Because I Got High.” He delivered a soulful, lively set of his cult followers’ favorites including songs from his 2022 album “Lemon Pound Cake” which was released in response to police raiding his house and eating some of his mother’s lemon pound cake.

Afroman was joined by Eze Jackson and DJ Clutch and hosted a meet and greet with fans after the performance on August 13.
