Baltimore School for the Arts freshman Urijah Parran spends his weekends documenting the Baltimore skateboard scene on both film and digital. Recently, Parran shot the MD/AM skate competition at the Charmcity Skatepark. The competition, in its 10th year, is one of the most important events in Baltimore’s skateboarding community. Throughout the day, skaters from Maryland and nearby areas showcased their talents by landing various tricks and navigating the course in front of judges and a crowd. With devoted vendors and a passionate audience, the event created a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere centered on the love of skateboarding. In the upcoming photos, you will see the tenth annual MD/AM competition as well as scenes from the skate park.
