The land of the free

The land that holds no opportunity for people who look like me

Where the founding fathers didn’t find nothing but fragile masculinity

Where the people opposite of my color convinced themselves they are the holy trinity

Buts that’s blasphemy

A land controlled by people filled with rapacity

Creating the beauty standard, stripping women of their personality

You know, cosmetic modifications so they have no originality

Cause a cute face slim waist with sex appeal is the key to that bad mentality

It’s sad to me

Cause the only way to be beautiful is to be skinnyyy

And if your gonna wear a skirt they recommend it miniii

You gotta be kiddinggg

What’s not clickinggg

This land was not built for us, but ironically built by us

chronically being treated unjust

they can no longer use chains they switched it cuffs

I think they finally figured out that

Black people are the diamond in the rough

you get it?

Cause without us they wouldn’t exist

To get rid of us, they pop us like zits

Real quick

Did you know that there are more guns in America than humans?

For every 1 persons there are 20 guns

And in this land we shoot for fun

I call this the Murdaland

where those red stripes represent those cold nights where the River of blood  ran warm  in the streets

Where the star spangled banner is on repeat

Oh say can you see all the bodies hanging from trees?

and how your ancestors hauled my ancestors to a land with no liberty?

A land where I am a women but I am a black woman first

Sometimes I feel like living is here is a generational curse

cause this land made me forget my worth

But I’m just lucky to be here

I know that there are people who want my citizenship

So

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the united states of America

And to the founding fathers who stole this land

One nation under laws, that remains divisible

Stripping liberty and justice from all
